7-12 Principal Jason Volk

I am extremely excited to be a member of the Stockton CUSD #206 administrative team and school community.  I grew up in Monticello, WI and graduated high school in 1997.  After starting to continue my education, taking some time away from advancing my education, and then refocusing on a career in education, I graduated from UW-Whitewater in 2008. I started my career in education teaching 3rd grade at Center Elementary in Freeport, Illinois for 8 years. My Master’s degree was obtained through Aurora University in 2012 and I took a position as a Dean at Carl Sandburg School in Freeport in 2016.  After spending 2 years as Dean, I became the Assistant Principal for 3 years before taking my current position in Stockton in 2021.  I look forward to working with students, families, staff and the community to provide a high quality educational experience for all stakeholders.

I am married to my wife,Tracy, who is also an educator, and we have two wonderful children named Parker (son) and Payton (daughter).  We love playing and watching sports and spending time outdoors with our family, friends and our dog Buster. Being a born and raised Wisconsinite, I am a huge Packers, Badgers, Bucks and Brewers fan.  Don’t hesitate to introduce yourself if you see me around and I look forward to making a positive impact on the school and community!
